Survey’s That Pay

surveys

Everyone asks if you can really get paid to take survey’s and the answer is YES!!! Most time’s the way it works is you sign up, provide information about yourself and your life, and the provider will send you survey’s that you qualify for. Now keep in mind, you often get paid based on the length of the survey. Most times it’s $1 for every 10 minutes. Its not a lot of money, but if you really need extra cash, you can do this vs playing candy crush.

Also, you have to wait for them to send you survey’s so its great to sign up with a few different providers, you just want to make sure they are legit ones!!

My favorites are: ((click the survey name to sign up))

One of the great things is you can usually do these from your phone, and you can also share them with other people too!!!

Another thing I love is Survey Savvy usually has an opportunity for you to participate in a study program. For instance right now, by letting them monitor your shopping habits for 6 weeks, you can earn $150. That’s a nice chunk of change just for letting them watch what you buy (as long as you dont buy illegal things online lol).

Now Swagbucks is a tad different in that you get paid for doing surveys, taking polls, and other tasks. Also for shopping!!

Go sign up for these, especially Survey Savvy right now so you can participate in their Holiday Bonus!!!

Sharing Pays

“I don’t want to sell a product”

Me either!!! Selling stuff is tough and not many people are big fans of sales people. So that is why I never sell stuff. I have a different job, I SHARE with people my love for a product. That’s right, I get paid to SHARE!476768c59e61b6691dee58482ff33c01

When I go to a new restaurant, I tell all my friends how good it was!! That’s great for the restaurant as I paid for my meal, and just advertised for them with nothing in return for myself.

When I buy new shoes, I tell people how much I love my shoes, where they can get them, and what a great product it is. This is great for the show store as I just paid full price for my shows, plus advertised for them and helped them get more business.

When I have a fabulous experience with an accountant, I recommend them to my friends and family. I paid full price for their service and now Im sending them more business because I thought they did a great job.

This is great for these businesses!!!! But what if I could get paid for sharing my love for these companies. And what if I could get a discount for getting them more business???

That’s what I do!!! I find a product I love, believe in, and will use daily and get paid to share it. I don’t sell. I don’t go door to door. I don’t bug my friends. I don’t beg people to buy.

I use my product, show myself using it. And that’s it!10995816_10153064888544576_7110161646201980006_n

For example, one product I use and LOVE is Jamberry Nail Wraps. I found them a few years ago and bought them because as a busy Mom, I didn’t have time to go to the nail salon. Plus the price was $15 for FOUR applications. You can’t beat that!!! So I used them, posted a few pictures, and made sales! Once I realized what a fun business it was, I started to expand. Here are a few things I’ve done to be successful in SHARING not SELLING

I began carrying sample packs with me that included directions and my business cards. These are popular as my nails are always done and every place I go, they advertise for me! If someone compliments them, I offer them a sample! No one says NO!

I offer my samples online by asking people to do a 7 Day Challenge. They get a free sample and use it on one nail, while putting polish on the others. They post the picture on social media on Day 1 and Day 7 to show the wraps vs the polish. This shows my product to tons more people and shows it WORKS

  • I make my own instruction videos and post those. People relate better when they see someone they know.
  • I do online parties which allows my friends to earn FREE products and for me to reach a wider range of people. I usually book a few parties from each party I host.
  • I pass out catalogs In local businesses
  • I do events
  • I do home parties

I use the product!!! This is the biggest!!! When I go to the park with my kids, when I go to the grocery store, when I go to the doctor….everywhere I go people see my nails. My 3 year old uses them too!!!  We both are walking advertisements for a product we love!! I use them, I share them, and I get paid for doing that!!! Plus I earn free products each month and get paid for sharing them. Its an amazing opportunity, a great and FUN job and you can find pretty much any product out there to get started doing this with! Managing Your Time When Working From Home

I always get asked how I manage to work from home with 3 kids with me all day. The truth is, it takes a lot of flexibility and to do lists!!! I get up before the kids, am up after them, plus answer emails/do work during their nap/quiet times. One way Im able to do this is my having a few different to-do lists. I know that sounds crazy, but its true haha.
I have one list for tasks I need to do each day, one for the monthly goals, and one for random things I wish to accomplish when I have time. For my daily list of things that HAVE to get done that day in related to work, I prioritize them in this order:
1) Close Friends11141180_10153078114179576_3521282344485357203_n
2) Paying Clients
3) Potential Clients
4) Business Building
5) Everything else
I break it up this way because the time I spend away from my kids is for the sole purpose of working and helping with their college funds and being debt free. So I always try and do the money making tasks first, and then everything else comes last and sometimes those other items don’t get accomplished that day, but its ok!

I usually have about 3 hours (if Im lucky) broken up throughout the day to do work, so I make sure to always get to my clients first as they pay for me to help them. I do put my close friends first as those relationships are very important to me!!! I don’t open browsers with facebook, pinterest, etc as those are just distractions. I make my list each morning of things that HAVE to be taken care of that day. The list is important as it helps me stay on track and keeps me from forgetting important things. Plus I prioritize it with numbers as what needs to be done first, second, third, etc.

Another thing that helps me is I have certain days each week I work on the same tasks. For example, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the days I post blogs. The 5th and 20th of the months are the days I send out newsletters for my clients and page followers. Doing the same tasks each week/month helps me not to forget them. Plus when I plan my week out, I know those are going to be my busy days.

Different things work for each person, but for me, staying organized and having lots of lists is what helps me the most! Its taken time to find a system, and some days I get behind and other days I have evenings to just read and relax! Part of being a work from home mom is learning to go with the flow, just do your best, and remember your goals! For me, my kids come first, and work comes second.11692566_10153075505454576_1689907928773453451_n

A Day In The Life Of A Work From Home Mom

One of the most common things I hear from people is asking how I balance everything. The truth is, some days I do a horrible job at it!!! But on those days, I look at what I can do better and consider it a learning experience. Part of parenting is just going with the flow so sometimes I get a lot accomplished…others days NOTHING! But I’ve learned balanced, and to work smarter, not harder. Here is a normal day for me!

Making Money Fast

how to make moneyMany work from home jobs are about building your own business and brand. But what do you do when you need money right away and don’t have time for business building?? That is a question I hear a lot lately so lets talk about what to do, and what NOT to do when you need money quickly.

WHAT TO DO:

*Find a job that is hiring right away and pays well. This might mean you need to do a customer service job and be on the phone all day, but if you are desperate for money, this is a guaranteed income!!!

*Look where you can make costs. Sit down and go over your bills. See if any will put you on a lower payment plan or if you can make cuts. Say bye- bye to expensive cable and crazy phone packages. Mot libraries and cafes have free internet you can use until you can afford more.

*Cut back on groceries! Find cheaper foods and snacks to eat, skip the extras like desserts and sodas and snacks you just munch on. Go meatless a few nights a week and have a soup and sandwich night.

*Don’t eat out or buy extras. If you don’t NEED it, don’t buy it!

*Shop at cheaper stores such as Costco, Sams, and Aldis. Use coupons for household items.

*If you own a business such as a direct sales company, utilize that!! Ask friends and family members to host parties, sample your products, or look for local events you can attend. Focus on selling products or recruiting, whichever brings in more income quickly.

  • Use multiple sources of social media to reach more people
  • Find out if you can advertise in local groups for your area
  • Offer deals such as free shipping for bulk orders or a small percentage off
  • Check out other social media websites for mom’s to grow your business reach
  • Get together with other direct sales ladies in your areas for a LARGE in home event where you all invite friends

****Focus on ways that will bring you income quickly and make sure you devote time to it daily. Be honest with yourself about your work and make sure you are doing all you can to get ahead. Once you get ahead, start focusing on a residual income so you aren’t scrapping over and over every month****

WHAT NOT TO DO:

*Don’t start a NEW business- this often requires a start up cost and even though many people SAY you can make it back quickly, not everyone can and that can put you further in the hole. Now if it’s a business where you can sell the products in your kit, that might be a good option!

*Don’t spend money- this includes any advertising, start up costs, website fees etc. If you need money badly, you need to focus on ways that will bring in an income. YES most businesses costs money, but don’t spend if you don’t have it. That just puts you further in debt.

*Focus on immediate returns. Building a website takes a lot of time and money so put that on your back burner as its harder to build up a following.

Ways To Make Money Fast:make money fast

*Sell baked goods. Everyone loves some homemade cookies, fudge and brownies and are happy to pay for it.

*Plasma, hair, breast milk, women’s eggs, and men’s sperm: All these things can be sold to clinics and places for income for yourself. For plasma, you can donate twice a week for $35 each time. For selling your eggs, you are required to past screening tests and do at home hormone shots for a month, but they pay is around $7,000.

*Bake meals for others and charge. Many people have to eat out due to busy schedules but would much prefer if they could buy a homemade and have it delivered. Advertise on your facebook or a local facebook group for your area.

*Offer to baby sit kids, pets, or homes. You can also register yourself on http://www.care.com

*Make crafts that you can sell. Such as front door wreaths, crochet items, signs for kids rooms and much more. You can check out http://www.etsy.com for ideas and to start your own shop!

*Sell stuff: You can use craigslist, ebay, and online facebook yard sale sites. Or have a garage sale.

*Recycle scrap metal. Contact your local scrap yard for prices.

*Rent out a room in your house. Make sure to have a rental agreement and research the person you offer the space too!

*Review music online with Slicethepie http://www.slicethepie.com/

*If you have a college education, you can sign up to be tutor online for many different ages and subjects!

In my personal opinion, building your own business is the best income option when working from home, but that does require time and money. And usually the time frame for that is between 6 months – 2 years. Make sure you are devoting time each day to your goals, keeping a list of what needs to be done, and setting priorities when it comes to where you spend your money and time. Building a business is hard in the beginning, but the pay off is well worth it! For ideas on businesses you can do from home, visit our Work From Home Directory!
